The City of Choctaw is served by a City Council, as well as several other specific community boards, all made up of members of our community who volunteer their time and service to make Choctaw a great place to live.

The Board of Adjustments hears and decides appeals that allege error in an order, requirement, decision, or determination made by an administrative order (city staff) in the enforcement of the zoning ordinance.
The Economic Development Authority works to create an environment in the City of Choctaw where business and industry can invest money in our community and receive a quality return on that investment, where every part of the workforce can find and maintain quality employment and earn a quality wage, and where citizens can enjoy life and prosper.
The Personnel Board serves as an advisory board to the City Manager on matters concerning personnel.
The Planning Commission serves as an advisory board to the City Council on matters concerning planning and zoning issues in the City of Choctaw.
The Public Recreation Board serves as an advisory board to the City Council on matters concerning parks and recreation.
