The Choctaw Public Library is part of the Metropolitan Library System, a network of 19 libraries serving the Oklahoma City Metro area.  Located at 2525 Muzzy Street, the Choctaw Library is open seven days a week and offers over 26,000 fiction and nonfiction items for adults and children including hardback and paperback books, magazines, audio CDs, DVDs, and videocassettes.  In addition the library offers access to over 1 million items in the entire Metropolitan Library System’s collection.  The library also offers free wireless internet, computer access, e-medial Digital Library access for checking out E-books, digital magazines, and downloading music to your tablet, computer, or phone, as well as games, puzzles and learning toys.

The Library also hosts many community programs ranging from Tai Chi and Yoga classes, foreign language classes, craft classes for adults and children, reading programs, playtime programs, teen projects and movie nights, and musical, cultural and theater events.  For more information about current events at the Choctaw Library, check out their calendar here.
