Do you have some free time and a call for community service in your heart? Consider volunteering to help the City of Choctaw with a community project or with one of our community events such as our seasonal festivals! We are always looking for helping hands and eager participants to help out with set-up and operations of our community events. From hiding eggs and helping children at our Easter Egg Hunt, to making history fun by having a good old time at the Frontier Days celebration, to baiting hooks and weighing fish at our Fishing Derby, or even passing out candy and being spooktacular at our Haunted Trails, and finally, to helping make the season merry during our Christmas in Choctaw celebration, your help is always appreciated. Help is also needed in maintaining the Historical Gardens along NE 23rd Street and installing new community recreational equipment, such as the Disc Golf Course, and other projects around the City.
If you are interested in volunteering for one of these events or projects, please fill out the contact form below and we will be happy to follow up with you with more information. Please make sure to include your contact information and let us know what event or project you wish to volunteer for and if you require any accommodations. For more information about our events you can check out our Festivals page here, or call us at City Hall at 405-390-8198.
Thank you for doing your part to make Choctaw a great place to live!
