We have updated the project timeline for the repairs at the SE 29th and Choctaw Rd intersection.  Please view the attached document for updates.  08/16/2018

The City appreciates travelers patience as we move to improve and repair the intersection of SE 29th Street and Choctaw Road.  Team Choctaw kindly asks everyone to obey the barriers and road signs placed to keep traffic out of the repair area.  Ignoring the barriers, jumping curbs, etc, presents a danger to city workers, other citizens, and could damage the uncured concrete potentially delaying the repair further.   Again, we thank you for your patience. 8/1/18

We understand the frustration with the construction at the intersection of SE 29th and Choctaw Road. We ask that you please bear with us and be patient as we continue to work quickly to complete this project. We are working hard to ensure that the new intersection will be smoother and will not have the same issues as in the past. We expect this project to be completed in mid-September due to staffing limitations, equipment failure issues, and weather complications. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve your daily commute.  – 7/30/2018
